Nowadays the problem of consumption becomes more complicated. The transition to market economy was accompanied by the process of privatization and the decrease of consumers’ standards of living. The authors of the article predicted some quantitative methods for the purpose of optimization the consumers’ standards of living. Thus, the purchasing ability of consumers would not decrease and they would learn to expend personal budget optimally.
