At present time, the cultural approach of consumption is an urging necessity that would allow a deeper understanding of consumer behavior that is subject to cultural mutations as a result of assimilation of the values of postmodernism, changes in the environment and the process of globalization. In this article the authors highlight some cultural mutations with an impact on consumption in the Republic of Moldova.
