Innovation is a determining factor of economic growth, it manifests itself in product, process, and business-wide
innovation. In this study we aimed to analyze innovative companies from the Republic of Moldova and Romania, to observe their evolution over time, to analyze comparatively in which fields and areas of activity are innovative, significant results, at the same time to research the size and potential of innovative companies. Innovations are based on the results of technological developments, new combinations of existing technologies or the use of other knowledge required by the enterprise. Therefore, we will analyze the types of innovations and the evolution of innovative enterprses for a certain period.
