INFORMATION PARADIGM AND GEOPOLITICS: ASPECTS OF INTERACTION

The article is devoted to the relationship between the media and geopolitics at the contemporary stage, when technological progress comes to speak in all areas of human activity. Namely the collaboration between these two entities, accelerated by the new communication technologies, has lately led to the emergence and affirmation in the practice of reflecting the international life of the information paradigm in geopolitics. The new paradigm has left its mark on the media activity in the Republic of Moldova, which in the last years, supported a lot of changes. Based on the author’s investigation undertaken, the author developed recommendations and highlighted the perspectives of research on the impact of information on geopolitical processes.
