Abstract

OPTIMIZATION OF THE NUTRITIVE MEDIUM FOR CULTIVATION OF 

PENICILLIUM funiculosum – A SOURCE OF CATALASE 

Enzymatic biosynthesis of microorganisms is directly influenced by nutrient components. Using the mathematical programming model, it has been established that culture medium of Penicillium funiculosum CNMN FD 11 for maximum biosynthesis of catalase is (g/l): KNO3 – 7,4; glucose – 40,0; NaH2PO4 – 2,5; K2HPO4 – 2,5; MgSO4 x 7H2O – 0,05; FeSO4 x 7H2O – 0,055 and yeast extract – 18,5 ml; microelements – 1,0 ml, initial pH – 6,6.
