Abstract

ELABORATION OF BIOGAS PURIFICATION AND CONDITIONING PROCESSES 

New combined processes and equipment for biogas purification were proposed to enhance the biomethane contents and provide the improved energy indicators, to broaden its practical applications as a renewable energy source. On the basis of elaborated concept the following technologies are laid: galvano-chemical treatment of gases to isolate the aggressive sulfide compounds and biomethane separation from admixture gases by water absorption. Purified biomethane can be used as a motor fuel for farms, whereas carbon dioxide can be applied for microalgae cultivation.
