Abstract

METABOLIC SYNDROME AS REFLECTING DYSANOGENICITY OF  PSYCHOSOMATIC INTERRELATIONS

Metabolic syndrome is an adverse effect of sympathoadrenal and stressogenic lifestyle. Changes in the psychological sphere in people with metabolic syndrome include emotional instability, cognitive disorders, depressive states, anxiety, and hypochondria, and somatic manifestations - abdominal obesity, and increased blood pressure, glucose and indices of cholesterol in the blood. Cognitive and emotional disorders, caused by insulin resistance are unrelated to the age of the person with metabolic syndrome, but depends on disease duration.
