Abstract
STUDY ON THE FORMATION IN AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF COORDINATIVE COMPOUND OF NICKEL(II) WITH 5-SULFOSALICYLALDEHYDE 4-ETHYLTHIOSEMICARBAZONE
The 5-sulfosalicylaldehyde 4-ethylthiosemicarbazone (NaH2LEt) has an ionic structure, is water soluble, forming a coordination compound with nickel (II), spectrally characterised by maximum absorption of 372 nm. The nickel-ligand molar ratio is 1:1. The optimal conditions and molar absorptivity of the dominant species were determined by spectrophotometric study.
