PECULIARITIES OF AMINO ACIDS EXCHANGE UNDER CONDITIONS OF INFECTION WITH SARS-CoV-2 CORONAVIRUS

Abstract

The nature of amino acid metabolism during infection with SARS-CoV-2 remains poorly understood to date. In this study, for the first time, studies on the effect of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection on amino acid metabolism in the conditions of the Republic of Moldova are presented. It was found that the pool of amino acids in blood serum and erythrocytes in patients with COVID-19 is unbalanced, which creates tension in protein metabolism.
