Abstract

The actual state of the time problem as a basic form of matter existence and its important attribute is being examined. It is noted that in the second half of the twentieth century there has been a research refreshing of this natural-philosophic category. In the ex USSR and ISC countries, especially after the publication of the V. Vernadski fundamental, previously unknown works in the last quarter of the former century, the study of this issue has been refreshed. These brand new ideas started to intercalate with pedology. The notions of absolute and relative soil ages are being analyzed. It is highlighted that the solification time is being succeeded not only cyclically but also discreetly seasonal in soils with a termic pergelic regime, of long-lasting seasonal frost and seasonal frost. The solification discontinuity can also be of paleogeographic origin, when the soil inhumed in time (fossil soil), as a consequence of the inundation processes, comes up to the usual surface and the process of solification is restarted. Towards this the author proposes the separation of the soil age from the solification process direct age, as a physical body.
