Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of the Coriocene on hypogalactic sows. After analyzing the
obtained results, it was found that the general condition of the sows treated with this product improved, the appetite,
hematopoiesis, enzymatic activity and metabolic processes in the body increased. Against this background, the milk
production of a lactating mother in the first week increased by 146,8 ml, decreased the level of cholesterol in the
blood by 16,83 %, of glucose by 19,12 %, of triglycerides by 40,98 %; increased total proteins by 23,8 %, urea by
13,05%. The content of tyrosine in the blood decreased by 18,9 %, and tryptophan, on the contrary, increased by 40
%, which indirectly denotes the increase in the synthesis of serotonin in the central nervous system and the restoration
of the maternal instinct.
