Abstract

 In this paper are described the results of the studies of algal flora from River Cogâlnic. Data obtained show high diversity of species – 385 with dominance by diatoms algae followed by euglenofites and chlorofites species. Sapro-biological analysis showed a high rate of beta-mezosaprobic species that causes moderate water pollution.
