Abstract

Growing the algae Anabaenopsis sp. on nutritive medium Z-8 after semi-continuous method of cultivation is more efficient, achieving more quickly the exponential phase of growth. The most efficient extraction and substitution of nutritive medium has proved to be the 50%, which contributes to obtain 9.3±0.850 g/l of algal biomass at the 9th day. The highest values of specific growth rate of algal biomass Anabaenopsis sp. are attested in lots with the extraction and substitution of 50% and touching 0.999 ± 0.049 days-1, and the lowest values in the 75%–0.567±0.02 days-1. The optimum pH of nutritive medium is situated between 9.543 to 10.646.
