Abstract
This article provides an overview of the methods of extraction, isolation, detection of bioactive secondary metabolites produced by cyanobacteria, including microcystins, anatoxins, lipopolysaccharide, as well as recent studies connected to the properties of cytotoxic, anticancer, antimicrobial, antibacterial of secondary metabolites produced by some cyanobacteria.
