Abstract

Metabolic disturbance on the background string diabetes induces activation of compensatory mechanisms in the adrenal gland. Adrenal gland plays a large role in both the regulation of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, and the application of compensatory mechanisms in response to the actions of endogenous and exogenous stressors.
