Abstract
Botoşani County was historically under the influence of various ethnic groups’ flows, due to the position of the intersection of important trade routes crossing the county. Romanians as indigenous ethnicity have always known a high rate of over 90%, the county's population. At the same time, ethnic minorities (especially Armenians and Hebrews) had a significant role in the county's socio-economic system.
