SYNANTHROPIC FLORA AND VEGETATION OF MOLDOVA AND NEIGHBORING AREAS RESEARCH HISTORY

Abstract

Based on retrospective analysis was found that synanthropic flora and vegetation of Moldova and partly adjacent territories can be divided into the following stages of evolution: 

1. Initiation step, from the first half of the XVI century – first half of the XIX century. Lists of plant species within certain geographical or administrative areas were published. 

2. Physical and geographical research step, from 60s of XIX century and 20s of the XX century. Floristic researches were completed with phytogeographical investigations. 

3. Ecological-phytocenologic research step, triggered more pronounced at mid. XX century – is the current stage. It manifests through achievement in floristic, phytogeographic and ecological research methods.
