Abstract

HEAVY METALS CARBONATES SOLUBILIZATION WITH AMMONIUM COMPOUNDS FROM AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS

Ammonia nitrogen compounds expose heavy metals carbonates to chemical degradation; as a result dissolved metals are washed into natural waters, polluting them. The aim of the investigation is to elucidate the peculiarities of interaction between the metal carbonates and the ammonium compounds as well as determining the impact of these compounds on natural calcareous systems.
