Abstract
CONTEMPORARY ASPECTS OF SENSITIVITY TO ANTIBIOTICS OF β-HEMOLYTIC STREPTOCOCCUS OF GROUP A STRAINS ISOLATED FOR RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTIONS
Beta-hemolytic streptococcus group A (Latin: Streptococcus pyogenes) is a very common germ that many people are detected in the body healthy, but it can also cause, acute tonsillitis, scarlet fever, skin infections, abscess formation, sepsis etc. The most active antibiotics concerning streptococci of group A, causing respiratory diseases, are imipenem, meropenem, rifampicin, benzylpenicillin, clindamicin, ofloxacin, which can be recommended for maintenance and treatment of streptococcal diseases of the top respiratory ways Keywords: antibiotics, susceptibility, streptococci of group A.
