Abstract
PROCEDURES OF EXTRACTION OF MANOPROTEINS FROM YEAST AND THEIR PHYSICO-CHEMICAL PROPERTIES
In the current work we propose efficient methods of manoproteins extraction from yeast biomass. The method of application of cellular biomass autolysis for 24 hours combined with alcaline treating increases the manoproteins extraction with 23.3%, compared to the control sample. Physical and chemical attributes of the isolated manoproteins from yeast cell walls are described. Keywords: manoprotein, yeast, methods of extraction, physico-chemical properties
