Abstract

MORE EFFICIENT PRODUCITON OF VITAMINIZED FORAGE SLUDGE CONTAINING B12 FROM AGRO-INDUSTRIAL WASTES: 2. EQUIPMENT MODIFICAITON

The increase in vitamin B12 contents in the sludge was obtained resulted from the methanogenic (anaerobic) digestion of post-distillery vinasse, through the design modifications of bioreactor interiour, CO2 re-circulation and its interaction with additionally dosed exogenic hydrogen. Vitamin B12 was further adsorbed on diatomite surface from the post-digestion liquid, which made it possible to produce the cattle forage concentrate enriched with vitamin B12. At the same time, biomethane production was intensified, being the element of ecologically-economic efficiency of anaerobic treatment of vinasse (agro-industrial waste). Keywords: bioreactor, biomethane production, vitamin B12, forage concentrate vitaminized with B12, exogenic H2, methanogenesis, CO2 re-circulation.
