Abstract

THE ICHTYOFAUNA OF DNIESTER AND PRUT RIVERS IN 2016 YEAR

In this paper are addressed to results of the investigation about Dniester and Prut Rivers ichtyofauna (territorial limits of Republic of Moldova) in 2016 year using trammel for juveniles. The richest ichtyofauna are found in southern terminals stations – Palanca (Dniester River) and Ghirgiulesti (Prut River), which are real ecotone areas, totaling riverbed, floodplain and estuary peculiarities. As we move upstream, it increases the share of rheophyls species, but decreases the amount of specific diversity and fish production. In the aspect of diversity and share in the fish species catches with different rarity state, Prut River significantly surpasses Dniester River, which shows a more pronounced anthropogenic pressure on river ecosystem. Keywords: ichtyofauna, anthropogenic factor, bioinvasion, ecological indexes.
