Abstract

USING THE NITROGEN FIXING BLUE-GREEN ALGAE AS BIOFERTILIZERS TO TOMATO CULTIVATION UNDER GREENHOUSE CONDITIONS 

Thanks to the biological fixation properties of atmospheric nitrogen and other physiological characteristics, the blue-green algae have a great potential to stimulate the productivity of crop plants having main premises for intensive applying in ecological farming. Algal bio-fertilizers administration contributes to stimulating growth at the stem height of tomato plants, increasing the number of seedling of tomatoes from 1.3 to 1.62 times and productivity tomatoes from 1.31 to 1.37 times compared to the control group where algal biomass was not given.
