α-BENZILDIOXIMAȚI AI FIERULUI(II) CU LIGANZI HETEROCICLICI CE CONȚIN AZOT

Abstract

THE α-BENZILDIOXIMATES OF IRON(II) WITH HETEROCYCLIC LIGANS CONTAINING NITROGEN 

The new dioximes of iron(II) of the general formula [Fe(DfgH)2L2] where: DfgH – α-benzyldioxime, L–pyridine (Py), triazine (Trz), 3- and 4- pyridinehemiacetals were synthesized and studied. The IR spectra of synthesized compounds were interpreted. The molecular and crystalline structure of the investigated complexes was determined by using X-ray diffraction method. 

It has demonstrated that in the case of 3- and 4-pyridinaldehyde as coordination agents they suffer transformation and coordinate to iron atom as hemiacetals ligands. All the studied coordination compounds have a distorted octahedral structure in which the equatorial plane consists of two α-benzyldioxime anions bonded to each other by intramolecular hydrogen bonds of the O-H∙∙∙O type, and the apical positions are occupied by the pyridine and its derivatives coordinated through the heterocyclic nitrogen atom. The triazine behaves as a monodentate ligand.
