LEVEL OF CORTICOSTERONE IN THE EXPERIMENTAL DIABETES WITH THE ADMINISTRATION OF PROPOLIS TINCTURE IN CONCENTRATION OF 0.05%

Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs in the context of insulin hypoproduction or when organism does not use insulin properly, and it induces profound changes in glucose, protein and lipid metabolism. Insufficient insulin production and consequent hyperproduction of adrenal cortex lead to increased glucose levels in blood. It is associated in the long term with the anatomical and functional impairment of organs and tissues that underlie the dispersion of a wide spectrum of chronic complications.
