ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH THE INCIDENCE OF PATHOGENS IN SUNFLOWER CROP

The present study focused on the analysis of the influence of some environmental factors (temperature and amounts of precipitation) on the incidence of sunflower pathogens in various areas of the Republic of Moldova. The data regarding natural infection of a set of 7-15 sunflower hybrids cultivated in different pedoclimatic areas (North – Visoca, Soroca; Pelinia, Drochia; Center – Bacioi, Chisinau; South – Grigorievca, Causeni; Svetlai, Comrat), during 2015-2020 were analysed. The fungal strains were found in particular in the northern and central part, characterised by the highest quantity of precipitation, while the angiosperm broomrape was detected predominantly in the South (with the highest temperatures).
