Аннотация

The evaluation of the population of foxes (Vulpes vulpes) according to the number of reproductive dens in the
,,Codrii” Natural Reserve on an area of about 5400 ha, revealed 28 active dens, which exceeds the normal density
by 14 times. The study of the parasite fauna diversity showed a maximum level of infestation (100%) in foxes in the
investigated area, and all the identified species parasitize both humans and domestic and wild animals, posing a major
risk to public and animal health. The bait, as a medicinal form, is successful, because it is strictly dosed and protects
the active substance from the actions of environmental factors (rain, sunlight, frost), thus maintaining the duration
of action of the anthelmintic preparation (albendazole) and, at the same time, it is attractive for food for foxes. The
extent of deworming (Extenseficacity) is of 92.9% (treated animals), and the intensity (Intenseficacity) is 98.4%
(parasitic forms destroyed). The problem that the present invention solves consists in simple realization and effective
use at an advantageous price, which contributes to the effective sanitation of natural and anthropized ecosystems of
parasitoses common to humans and animals, carried by wild canids.
