Аннотация

Scientific research was conducted on the leaves of plum tree varieties Stanley (of foreign origin) and Udlinionnaia
(native), and on two apple varieties. Golden Spur and Granny Smith. During the growing season, catalase activity
was higher in the varieties in the experimental variant (with insufficient moisture), compared to the control variant
(with irrigation), which confirms that the fruit trees studied showed a response to insufficient soil moisture during the
growing season. The values of catalase enzyme activity in the leaves changed depending on the metabolic processes
that occurred in certain phenophases of trees development, growth conditions and biological characteristics of the
varieties.
Keywords: plum and apple leaves, catalase, temperature, humidity.
