The purpose of this study is to assess the biological diversity of the Emerald Site „Pădurea Hîrbovăț”, the highlight and describ the species of European interest and their current status in natural habitats. To achieve this goal, field and laboratory research was conducted. As a result, two plant species and six animal species of special interest were identified and measures were formulated for their conservation within the habitats of the Emerald Site „Pădurea Hîrbovăț”.
