It explains the physical and chemical mechanisms that generate blue in the sky, water, and living organisms, as well as its cultural associations, from divinity and immortality in Antiquity to a symbol of royalty and power in the Renaissance. Throughout history, blue has been used in crafts and visual arts for objects of great value and is psychologically associated with calm, balance, and professionalism. Currently, in medicine, it supports an efficient and relaxing working environment, and in veterinary medicine, it has become a distinctive symbol of the profession and care for animal health.
