PARTICULARITĂȚILE COORDINĂRII S-ALCHILTIOSEMICARBAZONEI 8-FORMILCHINOLINEI LA PALADIU(II)

New complex compounds of Pd(II) with S-methylthiosemicarbazone 8-formylquinoline (HL) and its derivatives with a phenyl substituent in position 4 (4-Ph-HL) were synthesized. The molecular and crystalline composition of these compounds was established by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction method, as represented by the following formulas: [Pd(L)(NO₂)] (1), [Pd(L)(NO₂)]₀.₇₅[Pd(L)(Cl)]₀.₂₅ (2), [Pd(4-Ph-L)(NO₂)] (3), and [Pd(4-Ph-L)(Cl)]·0.5DMFA (4). An analysis was conducted of the conformational transformations in thiosemicarbazide ligands in relation to substituents and their coordinated or uncoordinated state. In addition, the specificity of coordination of these ligands to the Pd(II) ion was analyzed. The packing mode of the components in the crystals of these compounds is discussed, with particular attention given to the fine interactions that occur.
