Rezumat
In the article the most significant and vivid phenomena of the Moldovan religious music of the end of the XIXth - XXth centuries – Liturgy – are analyzed on the basis of choral compositions and also the aspects of their performance are discussed. The article dwells upon the influence of the Byzantine, Slavic and West-European cultures on the formation of the Moldavian church singing and on composers’ work of the end of the XIXth – the beginning of the XXIth centuries. The main goal of the article is to research this musical religious genre of the Moldavian choral culture; to determine interconnection of the musical works to the traditional genre samples of the cult music; to characterize the compositional peculiarities of musical works from interpretational point of view.
