In the first part we analyze the methodology chosen by the authors of French and Polish philosophical dictionaries and the construction of glossaries prepared by translators of philosophical texts. In the second part we confront Henri Meschonnic’s poetics of translating with principles of modern terminology. We shall also present and analyse a sample term card based on a number of Polish translations of philosophical texts.
