Into Bessarabian culture, Giacomo Leopardi’s work penetrates later than into western- European countries. This fact is due to the leopardian poetry sense complexity, as well as to the lack of familiar with Italian language translators and of formation italienists. In the present study, we propose to follow the road covered by Leopardi’s work in Bessarabia at the level of translations, as well as of scientific studies.
