TEACHING OF THE TRANSLATION OF SECTORAL LANGUAGES FROM ITALIAN INTO ROMANIAN

Abstract

For the last several years, translation studies have gained greater importance. This fact happens due to the phenomenon of globalization, the expansion of knowledge and experience sharing in areas of universal interest. The role of translation in these areas is considered as an act of mediation par excellence. The reason that led us to deal with this topic derives from the role of translation in the modern society thus by means of this study we want to show that translation represents a unique opportunity to deepen the implicit values of the languages and cultures that are brought into communication. We also want to propose the translation strategy of technical texts, used with the students specializing in courses of translation and interpreting at our faculty.
