Аннотация

The article presents biographical data of the Soviet entomologist Vladimir Ivanovich Talitskii (born 1906, Russian
Empire – died 199?, Republic of Moldova), settled in the Moldavian SSR since 1945. By researching the file in
the archive of the Ministry of Agriculture, it is suspected that the scholar’s professional training was at a college in
Leningrad; the doctorate in biology from Odessa and the activity in the Ukrainian SSR, being the colleague and follower
of the pseudo-scientist T. D. Lysenko from the USSR. V. I. Talitskii was an entomologist with a poor professional
training, because he produced more Soviet agro-propaganda. He developed methods and led the implementation of
chickens in combating grain bugs in Uzbekistan, possibly also in the Moldavian SSR. V. I. Talitskii declared a natural
phenomenon as a scientific method for the biological control of the same bed bugs. Based on the research of archival
materials and other historical sources, it is desired to research the activity of some pseudo-scientists infiltrated into
the state and scientific structures of the Moldavian SSR.
Key words: Vladimir I. Talitskii, soviet agronomist, biologist, entomologist, Moldavian SSR.
