Rezumat
From the methodical point of view, Emile Durkheim states that it is important to overgo the confusion that exists in practicians' minds, but also in theoreticians' between education and pedagogy, between pedagogy and education. This is the cause of considering him a sociological and epistemological personality, remarkable in the conditions of the beginning of the XX century, even if the solutions and responses were frequently incomplete and disputable.
