Rezumat

For a correct evaluation of actual aspects of superior giftedness, we consider necessary an introduction to the history of this phenomenon. In the article there are analyzed different ideas and studies of the gifted children, proposed by scientists from different countries and different historical periods of pedagogy and psychology development.
