EFICIENŢA METODEI HĂRŢILOR CONCEPTUALE ÎN ACTIVITĂŢILE PE GRUPE – ARGUMENTARE STATISTICO-MATEMATICĂ

Rezumat
The purpose of this study is to determine the most efficient way in concept maps using in order to avoid misconceptions and increase the student performance. Concept mapping is a technique of visually representing the information structure and understanding. There are several uses for concept mapping. This study uses the method in learning enhancement, and assessment. The study was carried out on 50 students of the age of seventeen, organized in two groups: group one (GE1) worked independently to construct concept maps, and the second group (GE2) worked in teams of five students to construct concept maps. The subject chosen for this study was Metabolism. At the end of this research, it was determined a statistically significant difference between the grades of the GE2 students. This demonstrates that working in groups at concept maps increases the student’s performance.
