We already know that, within the framework of an educational centre, the decisions are the main and the strongest point. To lighten the manager’s activity we’ll present some models concerning the decision taking. The following algorithm was the one took into consideration: The model analysis: why it is good for, what stages does it include, and doesn’t; The comparison with other models: similarities and differences; Conclusions and recommendations. There had been studied 7 models in taking decisions: The dynamic model Morris; The normative and strategic model Ovidiu Nicolescu, Ion Verboncu; The Beta system of Revans; Simon`s model; Ioan Jinga`s model; The native scientist model; V. A. Abciuc`s and V. A. Bunchin`s model. On the basis of the study, we conclude that all those 7 models comprise important stages, but incomplete, to be applied in an educational system. On the basis of studied models, it was made an example/model in taking decisions. It will be useful, in the first place for the school manager. Obviously, it will satisfy all the necessities for different beneficiary groups that follow to take a qualitative decision, those who need to obtain an efficient result, including teachers, parents and interested people in the problem mentioned above. Proceeding from the model, we can achieve the wanted result, it is very important to follow the stages concerning the process in taking a decision. They are logically phased, in a consecutive order, through a reverse connection: wording the problem, establishing the objectives, deciding upon criteria, elaborating the alternative variants, choosing the propitious variant, applying the decision and the analysis (expected results or applying corrective measures).
