Abstract

THE IMPORTANCE OF EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES FOR PREVENTING AND CORRECTING OF SCHOLAR DROPOUT To be a teacher in contemporary society is a very important and complex responsibility. To be a teacher means to effectively transmit some information about his specialty to their pupils. This one means to establish a positive relationship to their pupils, building trust, mutual cooperation, empathy and educational care. The last mentioned-one could represent to be preoccupied about the pupils’ problem, trying to help them to solve them. For many pupils the scholar dropout represents a huge issue, which can create premises for educational failure. In such circumstances, professors have an important role to motivate and encourage their pupils, according to their personal and familiar particularities. In the present paper, we will try to present some theoretical comments regarding to a few ways by which professors could help their pupils to overcome scholar dropout major risk and stay in the educational system until they graduate it with diploma.
