PILOT STUDY PROGRAM (SPECIALTY “LAW”) FOCUSED ON PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING. REALITIES, RECOMMENDATIONS AND OBJECTIVES This article aims to describe the key elements of the pilot program developed and implemented in the "Law" specialty starting with the study year 2017-2018. This pilot program is focused on the problem-based learning (PBL) method, being remodeled in the Erasmus + project "Introducing Problem-Based Learning in Moldova: Toward Enhancing Students Competitiveness and Employability - PBLMD." The necessities that led to the redesign of the existing program are revealed, taking into account the good practices of the European universities. Some recommendations for the future on how to apply the PBL method in the pilot program are also highlighted.
