A RETROSPECTIVE ANALYSIS OF THE SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSISTANCE EMERGENCE In this study we present the results of an exploratory theoretical synthesis of the concept of psychological assistance in the educational system. The psychological assistance service is one of the most important missions for the benefit of the society. Awareness of the need for psychological support activities developed early and grew with the evolution of the society. In this article, the focus was on the essence of psychological activities carried out in educational institutions which implies supporting the development of an honest personality, useful for the interests of the society.
