Development of multimodal transport is favored by the situation in Romania to three EU strategic corridors. For the transport of containers to be effective, it is necessary to make a suitable port infrastructure. Constanta Port is strategically located at the European Corridor IV but he needs development in several directions to reach the global requirements. What is gratifying is that the statistics and data that container traffic has an upward trend. To obtain a high added value as it requires effective public management port. From this perspective Maritime Ports Administration Port is required to coordinate the multitude of private port operators in the port of Constanta.
