THE DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRONIC COMMERCE IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

The formulation of proposals for the development of e-commerce were carried out based on the research of this
process on the internal and external markets of the Republic of Moldova. In the article, general scientific methods of
research were used: the analysis, economic-statistical methods of research. The list of the used references is presented
in the end of the work. E-commerce is a sector of the economy that includes commercial and financial transactions,
business processes and other actions: advertising, sales, payment for goods. The main advantages of e-commerce
are: the reduction of costs, the expansion of the target audience and the reduction of the number of intermediaries.
The commercialization of goods through e-commerce platforms on the market of the Republic of Moldova registers
significant increases.
The article will explore the examination of the e-Commerce process in the international and local market, the
studying and elaboration of proposals for the improvement of e-Commerce in the republic.
