INFORMAL EDUCATION - COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIP PRACTICE

The function of education is to put people in relationships, to create connections between people, their facts,
ideas, and processes are achieved through communication, especially through relational communication, as
Jacques Salome calls it. The most significant informal educational influences are produced by the messages
issued by the mass media, more recently by social media, but also by habitual, institutional, intentional, or spontaneous communication. However, these influences must be followed in order to reduce their negative impact
on the receivers or senders of messages. In the article, we analyze informal education as a communicative and
relational practice.
